The Cosmic Blueprint
Order is basic to life. Fundamental to all biological life is the phenomenon of homeostasis - the ability to maintain order in the midst of disorder. This is evident in the control of all biological functions for example the control of body temperature, blood pressure and the concentration of salts and gases in our blood. When homeostasis fails, disorder takes over.
Nature expresses its intrinsic order in many ways. "As is the atom so is the universe; as is the individual physiology, so is the cosmic physiology", states Charaka, the author of one the ancient texts of Ayurveda. This is in keeping with the findings of modern science. Chaos theory, for example, identifies symmetry in the way macroscopic structures in nature mirror their microscopic components such as the patterns of clouds, coastlines, solar systems and galaxies.
Nature is organised in a hierarchical fashion, each level of organisation being an elaboration of the previous level. For example, the body is composed of organs and organ systems and these in turn are composed of tissues, the tissues are made up of cells and the cells made up of molecules. The molecular level is governed by proteins, which orchestrate all cellular activities. The record or blueprint for these proteins is held in the genetic sequence of the DNA molecule in the nucleus of every cell. If this sequence is disrupted in some way, enzymes (proteins) repair and restore the sequence back to the original order.
Closer to the source, order becomes more apparent and nature is apparently more invincible i.e. more resistant to change. At the more basic microscopic levels, nature functions in a more simplified and unified manner. According to Quantum physics, at the basis of all matter is a non-localised, non-material field, vibrations of which generate the elementary particles and forces that construct and govern the universe. This fundamental field of nature unifies, co-ordinates and integrates into one coherent whole, all the diverse aspects of our body, of our ecology and of our world.
According to the Vedic scientists, this unified field of nature glimpsed by modern scientists is the field of consciousness, vibrations of which give rise to our thoughts and feelings. Such a hypothesis is not unlike that held by prominent physicists. Max Planck, the father of quantum field theory, for example said that, "I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as a derivative of consciousness."
This underlying unified field is thus the source of the subjective conscious world and the objective material world. Here the two worlds merge into one reality. Thought and sub-atomic particles are fluctuations of the same field of consciousness - one perceived by the mind, the other by the senses.
Physics holds that, by virtue of the process of spontaneous dynamical symmetry breaking, the intrinsic symmetry of nature divides and multiplies itself. So too, Maharishi explains, the field of consciousness through its self interacting dynamics, generates diversity form unity.
This hidden field of nature's intelligence is the seat of Natural Law - the source of all the laws of nature that maintain order in our body and the universe. These natural laws, which are identified as complex waveforms by physicists, are encoded in sequences of Vedic sound according to Vedic science. The sounds are vibrations of the field of nature’s intelligence, cognised by the Vedic Rishis and recorded in the 40 branches of Veda and Vedic Literature.
This is the cosmic blueprint, the template of all life forms, all structures in the universe. In his landmark research, Dr Tony Nader, MD PhD, found that the human body is an exact replica of the organisation of sounds in the ancient Vedic texts. Different sequences of sounds which have an inherent structures and functions were found to exactly correspond to specific structures and functions in our physiology. As a result of his remarkable achievement, Dr Nader was crowned His Majesty Raja Raam, first ruler of the Global Country of World Peace.
This understanding of the symmetry between the Veda and the body gave rise to the Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology which utilizes sequences of Vedic sounds to restore the order to their corresponding expressions in our body.
